We were recommended to this restaurant and it didn't disappoint.  Great service, staff very friendly.  Food was fresh and delicious and thin crust pizzas were superb.  Would highly recommend.

Salad was fantastic with plenty of shaved parmesan. Had penne with chicken arrabiata which was tasty and cooked perfectly.

Good food. Managed to squeeze us in without a reservation. Just went with the house red and it was nice.

Formerly Nino's Quattro, this restaurant now seems to be run by different people with a new menu.
The staff are all Italian; ours were helpful and informative. They let us try the wine before deciding which to order, explained the specials well and we got free liqueurs after our meal (try the Limoncello!)
The restaurant is somewhat basic, the tables are a little cramped, and it's quite noisy. But it is a relaxed atmosphere and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It's certainly popular!
The food itself is above average. I've had better, but I've had a lot worse. I had the prawn/crab/avocado gratin for starter, which looked like a simple dish but tasted absolutely delicious. The seafood spaghetti could have benefitted from being slightly larger with more seafood, and maybe a little something more flavour-wise, maybe some chilli or more herbs/seasoning. But that said it was enjoyable and I ate every bit. The steak was cooked perfectly and was one of the best I have tried; tender and succulent.
The deserts were huge and delicious, I had the chocolate torte and got nowhere near finishing it despite it's delicious, rich, chocolatey goodness.
Overall we all had a great time and I didn't hear a single complaint. The two bottles of wine we put away probably helped ;)
This felt like a true Italian restaurant experience, no clichés or fuss, just good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
